I'd round it up to 60 to encompass new players failing at them a few times. Possibility to fail a few as you get the gist of it for an even higher number of needed locations to visit just to unlock skills (ie builds). Skills unlock unsynergetic with most paths forcing you to more or less complete them all in order. 55 locations to visit just to unlock skills. Yep, probably the most infuriating design decision in the whole game.ġ1 heroes (at launch) 5 shrines each. The game gives you everything you need for a guaranteed win every time - no RNG. You're not fighting enemies selected at random. You're not going to lose because you go into them with too much stress. You're not going to show up with low health and get wrecked. The game drops you into a pre-scripted fight with pre-scripted abilities and you press a couple of buttons in the painfully obvious pattern. They're just mini-puzzles completely separate from the rest of the game. no gitting gut there at all xD I've already completed Hellion, Occultist, Vestal, Plague Doctor, Highwayman, Man-at-Arms. I wish you a lot of fun on the Flag shrines, the Hellion shrines, the Vestal shrines and the Occultist shrines. It's not like you need to "git gud" to get them. They're not even locked behind anything that requires skill or progression. Mixing and matching skills and builds is one of the most fun parts of the DD franchise.Īnd there's no reason not to have it now.
